ABOUT CHEF AMY STODDART
Owner and operator of Say-She-Ate
A Culinary Journey…
For the past ten years, Amy has enjoyed a culinary journey. It all started in a little town in Laos, where she helped friends start up and run a small restaurant. Sitting around a local feast each night before service, Amy gained great admiration for the culture’s passion and talent with fresh foods. Following her taste buds, she went on to travel throughout the countries of Europe and Asia, tucking into kitchens in search of secrets at every opportunity. This started an everlasting trend and now Amy continues to explore the globe, wander its many markets and gather inspirational recipes for use back home.
Classical Training…
Classically trained as a chef at George Brown College, Amy enjoyed advancing her culinary skills during her employment in both the restaurant and catering industries of Toronto and mentorship with European trained chefs.
Building on a dream…
Amy has always stayed true to her belief that good, clean food, cooked with love, has the ability to heighten the senses, bring people together, and that a positive relationship with food is essential to healthy living. Say-She-Ate is not just Amy’s business, it’s a way of life and a creative outlet for her to share her love for all things food.
